Theory of Design

This project was done in a class called “Theory of Design.” This was the final project which truly helped me to understand what goes into the design process. I was tasked with redesigning the courtyard of one of the dining halls on the Utah State University campus. The partis were done to create an understanding of the movement within the space, this shaped the concept diagram and eventually the final schematic. Creating a physical model allowed me to create a physical manifestation of my own design work which was very satisfying.
